How you can help give our community H.O.P.E.
Many of you have asked what you can do to facilitate the opening of the H.O.P.E. Summer Shelter (HOPE on Wheels) on May 3, 2022. As you are aware, the ability to provide much-needed services to our “guests” is dependent on the support each of you so willingly gives. We could not continue to be a blessing while carrying out God’s mission if it were not for your contributions; albeit time, donations, or both. As we move forward in our fourth year of operations and under less-than-ideal conditions, I have created four distinct groups to which you and/or your organization might best contribute. Please contact respective Team Leaders with your desires.
Team One:
Team Leader: Marquita Goodhope – marquita@hopefdn.org
Sponsors and/or Volunteers, who are interested in:
- donating food to cook,
- assisting in food preparation, and
- packaging up to-go meals for the guests.
Team Two:
Team Leader: Kimberly Brickhouse – kimberly@hopefdn.org
Sponsors and/or Volunteers who would like to contribute nonperishable items to pack in bags; items such as:
- Tuna Fish,
- Sardines,
- Vienna Sausage,
- Crackers,
- Applesauce,
- Pudding, and
- Personal Hygiene items (See guest essential listing) etc…
Team Three:
Team Leader: Rebecca Green – rebecca@hopefdn.org
Sponsors and/or Volunteers who would like to be a part of the clothing ministry would assist in handing out clothing items to the guests.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank each of you for everything you do. Without your generous donations and time, the H.O.P.E. Foundation would not be able to help those who need it the most. I have been blessed, and I want to be a blessing to others; that is something I believe we can all do TOGETHER.

“Meals Wheels” was started, to provide home-cooked meals and implement resources delivered to the guest where they are.
