Welcome to H.O.P.E. Meals on Wheels – where every meal is a gesture of compassion and care!
This program is dedicated to delivering more than just food; we offer home-cooked meals, essential supplies like masks, gloves, and personal hygiene items, and assistance with important documents.
Established during the COVID pandemic, our mission is to ensure the less fortunate and our guests receive nourishing meals when access to evening meals is limited.
We serve guests every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, providing not only meals but also toiletries, clothing, bus tickets, and any other resources they may require.
We also have been accepting nearly 160 calls per month through the H.O.P.E. phone line 757-241-6900.
If you’re interested in joining us in serving guests or contributing a meal, monetary donations are always welcome, and volunteers are encouraged to participate. Together, let’s make a difference, one meal at a time!
