As participants traverse the scenic route at Chesapeake City Park, every step taken helps raise vital funds for the foundation’s Meals on Wheels program, Guest Services, and Community Events.
Join us for the 2024 5K Run Walk on Saturday, September 28, 2024, for a fun-filled charitable event that supports the mission of the H.O.P.E. Foundation! Lace up your running shoes and join us at Chesapeake City Park for a scenic 5K run/walk fundraiser benefiting the Hampton Roads community and beyond.
Registration begins at 7 AM, with the race kicking off at 8 AM. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a stroll, participants of all levels are welcome to join in the excitement.
As you sprint towards the finish line, take advantage of complimentary refreshments, including pizza, fresh fruit, and natural bars to keep you energized. Prizes, plaques, and trophies will be awarded to top performers. Additionally, participants who purchase a commemorative 5K T-shirt can proudly mark the occasion. After the race, refuel with a delicious lunch provided onsite.
We’re also offering sponsorship opportunities at various levels for businesses and individuals who wish to show their support for this worthy cause.

Early Registration: August 25, 2024, through September 28, 2024
Adults: $25.00 (early registration) $35.00 (Day of the race)
12-16 Years Old: $10.00 (Early registration) $15.00 (Day of the race)
H.O.P.E. 5K Race T-Shirts: $15.00 (upon request)
If you would like to purchase a H.O.P.E. 5K race shirt you can otherwise wear and represent your color shirt.
Join us in raising awareness for important health causes by wearing specific colors during the 2024 5K Run/Walk Race. Show your support by wearing:
Pink for cancer awareness
Red for hypertension awareness

Competition numbers will be given out & Swag Bags before the race.
Medals will be awarded to the top finishing adult male & female participants.
