Because everyone deserves a place to call home.
Right here in our Hampton Roads community, countless individuals are living without a roof over their heads—searching for safety, warmth, and a chance to rebuild their lives. The H.O.P.E. Foundation, Inc. is committed to changing that narrative—but we can’t do it alone.
That’s why we’re launching:
“Raise the Roof for H.O.P.E.”
A bold, community-wide campaign to raise $100,000 to purchase a building that will become more than just a shelter. It will be a place of restoration and a haven where mentorship, essential resources, and the love of community come together to support those transitioning out of homelessness.
What The H.O.P.E. Community Center Will Become:
- A shelter and sanctuary for women, children, veterans, and the elderly
- A hub for job readiness programs, mentorship, and empowerment
- A place where the mission of H.O.P.E. lives and grows—Helping Others Pursue Excellence

We’re inviting the entire community to help us build a new future—brick by brick.
Lead as a Team Captain
We’d love to have 20 passionate Team Captains to lead the charge by raising $5,000 each.
As a Captain, you’ll rally a team of 50 friends, family, or colleagues to each give $100, multiplying your impact.
You don’t need construction experience to be a crew leader for this construction project, just a heart for helping and the will to lead.
Become a Builder of H.O.P.E.
Donate $100 and become a “Builder of H.O.P.E.”
Each $100 gift funds the realization of a building to help further the mission of H.O.P.E..
Your name or organization can even be honored on our donor wall.
Every brick counts. Every life matters.
Give Your Time and Talent
Not all support is financial. We need boots on the ground and hearts in action to fulfill Christ’s calling.
Volunteer
