Free Pre-Thanksgiving Feast
When: Saturday, November 16, 2024
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
We warmly invite the entire community—families, kids, students, churches, sororities, and organizations—to join us in celebrating and giving back as the H.O.P.E. Foundation hosts a special event to feed the homeless in our community. We refer to them as our “homeless guests,” this is a time to show gratitude by supporting those less fortunate.
There are several volunteer opportunities available, including:
- Assisting with event setup,
- Serving food and drinks to our guests,
- Helping with cleanup after the event,
- Bringing prepared food items, drinks, or desserts
- Praying and Talking to the guest.
We will also be distributing:
- clothing,
- winter coats,
- hats,
- blankets,
- toiletries, and
- providing bus tickets
to help prepare for the colder months.
This event is an opportunity to spend time with them, understand their needs, and see how we can offer support.
